Downloading & Installing Brushes

If you're used to installing things on your computer then you'll already know how to do the first part of this tut, installing brushes however, can be more tricky.. if you don't know what you're doing. *cough* This tutorial is for the installation of PSP7 compatible brushes. You can use this tutorial to help you install brushes that were mde in PSP7 and earlier versions.

Step One

First, to download the brush of your choice, click on any link or image that says download. Choose a part of your computer to save it to - ideally someplace where you'll find it again easily.

Step Two

As with most things you download, the file you saved will be zipped. When you find the brush file, right click on it and options will appear. Choose extract here and a new folder will be made, which will contain the now extracted brushes. Click on the brush folder (for example Swirls_05) and open it. There may be an imagepack, a HTML file but there should certainly be at least one file that ends in jbr. Click on all the jbr files and right click -> copy.

Step Three

Now go to Program Files -> Jasc Software Inc -> Brushes and paste the jbr files into the folder. You can delete the file you extracted the brushes from (as this takes up computer space) and the new file you made.

You can now use the brushes for whatever you want. =)
