Glowing Images

This tutorial is going to show you how to make images "glow".


Step One

  • Open up PSP and the image of your choice. I am using this picture. Click on your image and then click layers -> duplicate.


    Step Two

  • Now click effects -> blur -> gaussian blur. Set the radius to 5.00. Click Ok.


    Step Three

  • Now go layers -> properties and set the blend mode to screen. Your image should now look this this.


    And there you have your glowing image. You can experiment with the different blend modes to suit your needs. Here is the same image, but set to overlay, and again but this time as soft.
