.. no, seriously, I do.

It's official, I was a much happier person before I had a computer. *nods* So what is the reason I haven't updated in over a month? Well I'll tell ye. Things were going just tickety-boo for me, I had a nice little amount of content to update with and I was on a graphics role, with more coming. And what happens? The computer decides to be seduced by a very clever virus and BANG! it's on its back for 3 days with an illness that had only been around the net for 2 weeks. Needless to say I was not amused, but what they hey, we've had viruses before right? They take a bit of cleaning up but when they come back everything will be Ok right? Yeaaaah, right. So my dad spent 3 days working on it (he works with computers and has lots of friends who are in the know about such things, and even they were stumped) and after much technical jargon (of which I gave up even trying to understand) and various things being installed and un-installed, we had to re-install Windows which may or may not result in losing some data. But what's does it matter? A month previously, I had saved most of my stuff (or thought I had them saved) and anything newly created we saved the night before we re-installed Windows. So all is well. Then the great day of the Scouring of the Virus, and it worked. No more Mr. Nasty Seducing Virus, thank you very much. Huzzah!

No, not huzzah. There were various things wrong with it. Little, stupid things like the speed of the scrollbar and all annoying things that you take for granted until they change. And then there was re-installing programmes and..urgh.. time consuming stuff. For some reason all my graphics had gone *LE GASP* but I had them all saved, so it was an inconvenience to have to put them all back, but better than losing them. Due to a miscommunication between me and my brother, all my Word files had failed to be saved, so I lost various documents, most of which I can't even remember what they were, and various poems I'd created on the spur of the moment, most of which were not written down anywhere else. *fume fume* All my internet favourite pages had also gone bye-bye, as no-one told me I might need to write the addresses down, just in case. Most of them were just handy sites to visit, none of which I can now remember. The ultimate disaaster was about to befall poor me.

I've never been much of a font collector, if I happened to see something I liked, I downloaded it, but other than that, I was happy with my collection and didn't feel the need to add to it often. So needless to say, upon finding all my fonts kaput, I as not the happiest bunny on the farm.

Anyway, the long and the short of this is, a) it took me quite a few days to the get the computer back to how it was, b) it took me even longer to get some sort of font collection together again so I could actually make graphics, c) I was so depressed by all this that I stayed away from the computer for well over a week and d) I'm only just getting back into the swing of things, which all in all is why I am so late in updating. So I have to really apologise for the length of time it has been since anyone has seen me around their sites, but I hope you can understand.

19 wallpapers. Yes, this was part of my graphics role, until I lost the will to make any. There nothing really special, but I'm not too fond of showy wallpapers - on my desktop at least they always get covered up - so I just wanted them to be simple, and hopefully the different sizes will cater for individial computers.

55 patterns. I would like to thank Ragnhild for providing me with the means to actually make pretty decent patterns.

60 textures. *dies* Yes, I know that's a heck of a lot, but I just didn't want to make graphics so I had to make something. You'll also find a new way of displaying them and there are now black and white textures as well as the normal ones. Each type has its own section now.

Mainly with the site I've just been updating things, deleting a few pages here and there and tidying stuff up. I've also deleted a few afiliates, mainly dead sites or sites that still have my link as being The Dwarven Lords.

Estella, Christina (yep, you can make them in PSP, one way to do it is to have a white canvas, and randomly use a brush, and using various colours just splash all over it, then using the Pattern option in the Effects area, just play around until you're happy with it, then use a different brush, colours etc, and see what else you can come up with), Stephanie, Melissa, Nurr, Ragnhild, Gil, Jade, Rose and Elfe.
